Faqra Club is a private ski resort located in the town of Kfardebian, at 1720m of altitude. It takes an hour and fifteen minutes to get there from Beirut, the capital. Chalets and gardens surround the resort. Faqra Club is known for its wide variety of activities. If you don’t feel like hitting the slopes you can play tennis, golf, basket-ball or go horseback riding.

Facilities are offered by l’Auberge de Faqra, a hotel located in the heart of the village, offering a heated swimming pool, squash, sauna, 3 tennis courts and a fitness club. You can book a single room, a double room or a suite. For après-ski activities, a number of pubs and restaurants are available, like La Taverne and Chez Michel. You can also party at La Boite de Faqra.

If you need to buy equipment for skiing, a shop is available near the slopes.
Slopes open daily from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m on weekends and holidays, and to 3:30 p.m during weekdays.

The Laqlouq Ski Resort

Laqlouq is well-known for cross-country skiing. Mostly visited by families, it is situated at an altitude of 1800m and isn’t surrounded by buildings and constructions unlike other resorts. Laqlouq is one hour and fifteen minutes away from the capital Beirut.

If you would like to spend the night at the Laqlouq resort, you can book a room at the Shangri-La Hotel, where you will find cozy individual rooms and spacious family rooms. There are also outdoor activities like tennis, shooting, biking, archery, sarbacane and rock climbing. Pubs, restaurants and nightclubs are available if you would like to go out at night.

And if you need to buy a ski or snowboard set, you can find shops on your way to Laqlouq. Prices range between 5$ and 12$ for a full set.

For a full day at Laqlouq during the weekend, adults pay 23$ whereas children pay 20$. Prices are lower during the weekdays. Slopes are usually open from 8:00 am till 3:30 pm on weekdays, and till 4:00 pm on weekends.

The Cedar Mountain and Ski Resort

Located in the North of Lebanon, at an altitude of 2000m, The Cedars Mountain & Ski resort is 2 hours away from Beirut, the capital. It is the oldest ski resort in Lebanon, and it is dedicated to nature lovers. Climbing, off-piste, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are the most popular activities at the Cedars. You can also ski downhill, skidoo, paraglide etc. And if you don’t feel like hitting the slopes, there’s a wide variety of activities you can engage into, like visiting the Cedars forest or Bsharry the town of famous poet Gibran Khalil Gibran, or the beautiful valley of Qadisha.

For accommodation, you can book at The Cedrus hotel which is a four stars hotel lying in the foothills of the mountains. It includes 40 rooms, deluxe suites, executive suites, grand suites and family rooms, 24 hours room service you have daily shuttle to the slopes.

At night, you can have a drink at a pub, dine at a restaurant, or go party. There are more than 10 nightclubs in the region.

The resort is currently being expanded providing better equipment and services. A giant telescope is being installed capable of expanding the view to Cyprus Island.

The Cedars ski slopes normally operate from 8:00 AM till 3:30 PM during weekdays and 4:00 PM during weekends and holidays. Prices of full set equipment range between 5$ and 12$.

Faraya-Mzaar

Faraya-Mzaar is a large ski resort located at 1800m of altitude in the town of Kfardebian, in the heart of Mount Lebanon. It is about an hour drive from the capital Beirut. The resort has 42 slopes and 80 km of ski tracks. A team of 60 instructors will guide you and train you whether you are a beginner or an advanced skier. National and international ski competitions are organized and held at this resort every year.

If you need accommodation, hotels and chalets are available. You can book at the Intercontinental Mzaar Resort & Spa- a 5 stars hotel that has 131 rooms and suites- for a standard room, deluxe room, loft room or family studio. The hotel offers indoor activities such as squash, billiard, bowling, cinema, heated pool and a fitness center. Outside, the visitor can go biking, climbing, hiking, rappel, clay shooting, snowmobile and ATV.

Lebanese, Italian, Japanese and Alpine restaurants are also available at the Faraya-Mzaar Resort. You can find nightclubs and bars for entertainment and partying as well.
Prices for renting a full ski or snowboard set ranges between 8$ and 12$. Slopes open everyday from 8 a.m till 4 p.m.
